Libby Langdon Set to Introduce her Rug Collection with Tiger Rug in October:
TV Interior Designer Works with Rug Manufacturer to Create Transitional Designs with an Updated, Fresh Flair

NEW YORK – Libby Langdon has joined forces with Tiger Rug for her latest project – a dynamic, stylish and quality constructed product line of hand-made wool area rugs.   Langdon, an interior designer, author, and television makeover personality from shows like HGTV’s Small Space, Big Style and current go to design expert on The Rachael Ray Show and NBC’s Open House, will debut her rug designs at the October Furniture Market, in High Point.  Tiger Rug is very excited to be working with Libby on her latest project. This collaboration has created an area rug collection that offers a myriad of design solutions for every room setting.  At Libby’s request, the Solutions™ collection will offer the consumer the option to purchase any custom size, shape, or color at no extra charge. She will offer the consumer complementary designs and/or color palettes for adjoining room settings allowing for a seamless transition from room to room as well as offer every design at various price point options.

“I’ve worked with Steve and his team at Tiger Rug creating custom rugs for my clients in the past, so for me to be able to work with them on this collection and see my own designs come to life is so exciting,” says Langdon.  “It was important for me to create rugs, all with the same style, quality and pizzazz, at various price points.  This collection will offer the option of having the rug designs produced in a flat-weave, soumak weave, hand-tufted or hand-knotted weave so there is something for every budget. This option gives me the flexibility to offer my designs to a wide range of consumers.  The quality and workmanship of these rugs, using all natural materials, is absolutely incredible.”

Langdon has drawn not only on her experience from residential and commercial design projects but also from her TV makeover projects when creating her designs.  “I discovered there were design concepts and styles that individuals gravitated towards again and again.  This discovery served as a perfect springboard when designing my rug collection.”
