Sagaponack Home - The Challenge:

As family has expanded, the once rustic home has been turned into a 4,000 square foot masterpiece.  New elements of the home include 200 year old oak floors in French provincial stain, custom bathroom tiles imported from Italy, expanded great room and dining area, additional quest rooms, modern kitchen, new decking and custom bar.  How to pull the look and feel of the home together?

The Look:

  • Manuel Canovas tan and navy toile for a small guest room with old barn beams

  • Rich chocolate and coral/clay fabrics in the great family room with two coordinating Stark rugs to pull together living and dining room

  • Dramatic, custom designed chandelier over the dining table - wrought iron chandelier with an oversized sheer linen shade to cover the entire fixture

  • Long elegant trestle base dining table from Country Gear establishes the dining room, with cream upholstered chairs and two large buffets from Baker

  • Mixing items such as an eclectic Moroccan mirror and a rattan bed in the guest room with a bold coral print chair

  • Ivory Suede fabric papered on the walls in the master bedroom with a custom oversized headboard, luxurious silk bedding and drapes
