I had the best time working on this project. It was for a fabulous family that had just bought this gorgeous home on the water in Rumson, NJ.
I knew it needed to be a super kid friendly home that would also work well for entertaining lots of friends and family! They really loved blue so that became a running theme throughout the downstairs, they wanted it to be casual but stylish. It's filled with lots of natural light and windows to capitalize on the great views.
I had a blast designing their sons bedroom, it was such a big room but they had an extra queen canopy bed that we weren't going to use. I converted the bed into what became known as "the fort" and he loved it! It's been fun to go back to the house to visit them and see how much they are using and loving their new space, I think that's what good design is all about!
