Designer, author and makeover television personality Libby Langdon is the creative force behind New York City-based design firm Libby Interiors, Inc.  Libby’s residential and commercial projects, embodying her easy, elegant, everyday style, have earned widespread acclaim and she is fast becoming known for her growing collections of branded home furnishings products. 

Makeover television fans can’t get enough of Libby’s one-day makeovers on NBC’s LXTV Open House, where she decorates an entire room in less than 10 hours while sharing design tips and expertise that everyone can use.  The popularity of those segments led to the launch of her own half-hour show, Daykeover with Libby Langdon, currently filming for NBC’s COZI TV. Libby has also been a regular special guest and design expert on a variety of radio and television programs, including The View, The Rachael Ray Show, BetterTV, Design Invasion, The Early Show, and HGTV’s Small Space, Big Style.

Thanks to her extensive work in makeover television and with clients, Libby has developed a unique insight and understanding into how we really live and what we really want today.  Inspired by thousands of conversations with consumers in homes across the country, she recently launched Libby Langdon Upholstery for Braxton Culler, a collection of fresh, affordably priced silhouettes for modern lifestyles available in retail stores nationwide. The Libby Langdon line for Tiger Rug combines classic and transitional designs that can be customized to fit any setting and she is currently at work on other branded product lines for the home.  Among these, she developed the Libby Langdon Solutions™ Furniture Arranger as a tool to help homeowners create their own room plans in minutes.

Libby’s diverse residential design portfolio ranges from small apartments to celebrity oceanfront homes to a vineyard cottage in Italy.  Her commercial designs include the New York City restaurant La Masseria, the flagship store for Italian designer Massimo Bizzocchi and the Atlantic Golf Club Pro Shop in Bridgehampton, NY. 

Her first book, Libby Langdon's Small Space Solutions, offers innovative and inexpensive design ideas to help small space dwellers live large.  Her work has been on the covers of leading magazines and her designs and decorating tips have been featured in national publications including Architectural Digest, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, Wall Street Journal, Rachael Ray Magazine, Woman's Day, Better Homes and Gardens, Budget Decorating, Glamour, and New England Home.  This summer, she will be featured in Traditional Home’s Hampton Designer Show House issue.

A vivacious and in-demand speaker, Libby offers book signings and seminars to consumers nationwide, and regularly presents her ideas to the trade on how to successfully connect with consumers.  Among her recent appearances, she has presented at the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, a variety of Decorator & Design Building events in New York, and for the non-profit design organizations ASID, IFDA, and WithIt, an association devoted to moving women to the forefront of the home furnishings industry, where Libby serves as a Vice-President at Large on the Board of Directors.
